Östra Holmen beach is located on an island in the lake Mälaren just 1 km off Västerås city. This is an official nude beach.
The beach is owned and operated by Västerås City.

There is a ferry from a pier close to the railway station where you will find a ticket car park. In order to reach the free beach you have to pass the two separate nude beaches for each sex.
The sand beach is well suited for kids. There is a dust bin and a lavatory but no fresh drinking water.
