From a bare piece of pasture, purchased about eighteen years ago, it has now been transformed into a natural paradise by the hard work of the members. There is space and greenery, a swimming and a fishing pond. And around it are a number of the 60 permanent places for the members.

There is a large, spacious guest field, where guests regularly stay in the season, for a weekend or longer. Because there is a lot to enjoy on and around the Brongaard. A number of places with a paved surface have also recently been created for campers.

The canteen with terrace by the swimming pond is an important meeting place. Large and small activities are regularly organized, especially at weekends, for young and old, for members and of course the guests.

A new jeu-de-boules court was constructed in 2013. There is a tournament several times a year.

The shower-toilet building is modern, centrally located on the site and also equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer, for a fee of course.

The Brongaard is ideal and safe for children. At the swimming pond is a beach, two trampolines, some playground equipment, there is a sports field, an area for crafts and a brand new table tennis table. What more do you want?

The members of the NVH are proud of their field. Every first Saturday of the month, the members work hard and sometimes also the guests. And if we are to believe the guestbook: the guests feel welcome and are enthusiastic about the site.

The location of the Brongaard is ideal for a longer stay. You can easily explore Zeeland, or - in good weather - go to the beach of the new Maasvlakte, where there is a beautiful nudist beach. The nearby dune area at Rockanje and Oostvoorne is one of the most beautiful in the Netherlands.

Hellevoetsluis is a pleasant fortified city with many shops. Brielle is close by. And within walking / cycling distance is a large supermarket, where you can do all your daily shopping.

In Hellevoetsluis you can also rent a bicycle (€ 8.00 p / day) or E-Bike (Euro 20.00 p / day).
