Our site 'Berkenwoude' is located in the middle of the hamlet of Achterbroek. Surrounded by hedgerows you will find an oasis of peace. Tents, caravans, folding trailers and campers can be found on the site. 28 Pitches are equipped with a power supply. There are also three fully furnished log cabins on the site that can be rented. The day room "De Berk" includes a kitchen, a rest room and dressing room that connects to the spacious sauna. There are toilets and showers next to the wood-fired sauna and on the site is a modest sanitary building with toilets, showers and a possibility to wash dishes on the outside. There is also hot water there. For the youth there is a go-kart, sandpit, trampoline, swing, seesaw, climbing equipment, table tennis table, life-size chessboard and canoes with life jackets available. In the center of the site is a large pond with two jetties. You can sail and swim in the pond. Keep in mind that it is a former peat pit and not an official swimming pond. Inside and outside the site are ditches in which you can sail our canoes and the narrow country roads in the area are wonderful cycling. A washing machine, iron with board, spin dryer, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer are available for campers.
