It is an Oceanic Beach located on the coast of Portugal – the Iberian Peninsula – in the municipality of Odemira, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean.

Praia dos Alteirinhos is located immediately south of the village of Zambujeira do Mar. Its sandy beach is extensive and is sheltered in a inlet.
To the south, the beach is bounded by Ponta do Lajão, a rocky saliência appreciated by line fishermen.
Access is made through a steep staircase on the cliff that, as it is a descent, presents us with a beautiful waterfall a few meters away.
This is an official beach of naturism.
